Test items
1: Please refer to the "Wiring Diagram" for the connection between
the LCD module and the microcontroller. Note that the polarity of
the positive and negative power supply cannot make a mistake,
otherwise it will cause overcurrent, overvoltage, and burn the
chips on the circuit.
2: After the wiring is correct, when starting to test the LCD
module, turn on the logic power first, and then turn on the LCD
The driving power of the module; when the power is cut off, first
turn off the driving power of the LCD module, and then turn off the
logic power.
The signal level can only be input after the positive power supply
is stably connected, such as inputting the signal level before the
power supply is stable or after disconnection flat, it may damage
the IC in the LCD module.
3: The display effect of the liquid crystal display module will
change accordingly with the change of temperature. The ambient
temperature exceeds when the operating temperature of the liquid
crystal display module is exceeded, the liquid crystal state
disappears and becomes a liquid state, and the display screen is
black. Be sure not to power on, and it can recover by itself after
the temperature drops; on the contrary, if the temperature is too
low, the liquid crystal will start to form ice flowers, causing
cause permanent damage. In addition, if stored at extreme
temperature for a long time or subject to vibration and shock, the
LCD will also produce gas bubble. This is why a temperature
compensation circuit is added to the LCD module, or an external
potentiometer is added to adjust contrast.
4: The VOP output of the liquid crystal display module cannot be
too high, which will affect the display effect and shorten the
service life of the module life. Please refer to each product
manual for the correct VOP voltage value.
